I was perched, and rather precariously so, atop Signal Hill when I captured the photograph that inspired this work. Fort Amherst sits on one side of The Narrows of St. John’s Harbour and I was on the higher hill on the other side. My legs were seriously shaking but for the sake of art…I captured the prize.
