It’s been a long time and many things have happened between my last post in June and now, far too much to get into here.  While I have been doing all those other things though, I kept making art, although a little less often and a little slower than usual for me.  Over the coming few days and weeks, I will be posting some of that art, mostly done in markers as they are portable and I was able to take them wherever I happened to be.  I hope you are all well and still blogging your hearts out ( I have been reading, liking!).  I look forward to visiting your blogs a little more regularly and hope that you will come to visit me as well now that you know I have not dropped off the face of the earth (ha!).  This piece is based on a photograph I took while tromping around Cape Spear in my beloved Newfoundland.  As you can see, I have injected some colours that are not actually on this old lighthouse but boy would I have fun painting it pink!!  Enjoy and keep making art!!

Regardless of its dangers people are drawn close to the sea at Cape Spear.  These folks, whom I did not know, had gone far beyond all the danger signs and were tempting fate so to say.  Made for a lovely shot though and I took full advantage!  Enjoy, go the sea and keep making art!!
