Well..this is a wild experience to say the least.  I am a forty-something (never wrote that down before) woman with an intense interest in learning about just about everything but with my main interests being visual art, music, literature and ….now don’t be scared off by this…… medicine and psychology!  I also am the mother of two inquisitive little ones ( I wonder from whom they inherited that trait?)  So how do I roll all this into one.  Well, I am a clinician by day and a creativity dervish/artist/music lover and parent..and not necessarily in that order…. at all other times!

I decided to blog about my art experiences and the absolute blast that it is to learn about all types of art forms “as I go and do”  or incidentally as my moniker indicates!  I also wanted to explore this world of blogging because I have been intrigued by it for some time now and wanted to examine and explore the visual, literary, musical and inspirational world around me from a global perspective.  I hope you can help with this by continuing to come a have a look and letting me know who you are and what you’re about too!

    • This is so beautiful…I am in tears having read the story of the students, their responses to their success and to your story as well. What a beautiful gift you have given them and how thoughtful of you to let us all know that we have planted a seed that will flourish beyound our imaginations! This, by far, is the most meaningful award yet! May the angels and muses be with them all and with you. Lorelei ( aka incidentallearner)

Thank you for sharing yourself here

    • You are so very welcome. When I visit a blog, I really enjoy having a good peruse through its contents! Thank you for your thoughtful and generous comments. Your words are such an inspiration to continue on with art making and art sharing. Have a lovely evening,

  7. creativity is such a wonderful world! your desire to be in tune with all that is creative is inspiring and reminds me of my father’s maestro…his name was Sergei Bongart. A painter from Russia who deflected and came to America he was the epitome of a true artist, painter, poet, musician, actor and so much more. Sergei was a culmination of many art forms and you may see some of his paitings at http://sergeibongart.com What is so lovely about creativity is the passion and the emotion involved. Art is a physical manifestation of emotion which it is why art has such a tremendous emotional effect on individuals. I am so happy you can and posted on my little blog!!! keep creating!!!!
    kindest regards,
    vanessa

    • Creativity is so very wonderful, I agree. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments! I am humbled with your comparison between Sergai Bongart, who looks to have been a prolific artist and intellectual, his desire for attunement to all things creative and my desire for the same. His and you father’s works are an inspiration to me. You are right as well, as the art and the emotion are difficult to tease apart. Thank you for your thoughfulness, I am honoured by your comparison. I will be visiting your blog again very soon and I look forward to more discussion in our futures. My very best to you and yours, Lorelei

  8. Outstanding! Seems we have some interests in common, my friend! I’m so glad you came by my blog and introduced yourself. I’ll enjoy looking around here much further.

  11. I’m not one to do these Award things, but there are some blog sites like yours I enjoy so much, I wanted to recognize you as others have recognized me. I know you’ve been recognized with awards, but I’m recognizing you again on my blog with the Reader Appreciation Award. Your site is definitely one of my favorites. You can view the award at http://rcnormanphoto.com/2012/06/07/thanks-for-blogger-awards. No need to follow the silly rules — it’s the recognition that’s important. — Rob

  13. Thank you for following my blog. As you can probably tell, I’m all over the place with my blog. I write and post about anything and everything that inspires me in the moment. It started out as a place to share my memories of growing up and then quickly became a very personal journal on my weight loss journey. Today my blog includes my love of the arts, photography, cooking and my journey towards a healthier me. Thanks for stopping by. Keep on painting. I’m hoping to more of the same.
