I love these Christmas flowers. When I was growing up my mother always managed to keep them around for long after the Christmas decorations had be stored. This year, I have managed to do the same, with the help of my husband who has lovingly nursed them while I have been working some long hours. I hope you enjoy this February flower and perhaps you can think of something that you would like to nuture along, long after it’s usual season is long completed. Keep making art!

You do know that the poinsettia will live all year long. The red leave will fall off and new ones will grow. You have to put it in a dark place a month or two before Christmas and the red leaves will return. I’ve gown them all year but never tried the turning the leaves back to red.
Not in Canada they don’t but this little one may make it now that I have your secret!! Thanks Kim!
Yes why not! They are great anytime I think! 🙂
