This mother Osprey was not impressed when our boat got a little too close to her nest full of eggs. Papa Osprey was nearby as well. She rose out of the nest making noise and did so until we left. We saw other nests with hatched eggs and could see two or three little heads peeking out at us. One of the more experienced mothers seemed unperturbed when we came near but this one wasn’t having it. Enjoy, explore the Everglades and keep making art and in this case photography!!

Amazing the nest is as big as the tree.
It was huge and very incredible to see close up! She rose up about 10 feet in the air and at that point must have felt we were far enough away so returned to her nest.
